Characterful Italian guesthouse/B&B in a handy location

Atmospheric guest house with real character and traditional features. Great location, easy to walk to the centre and major sites.

We had one of the beautiful rooms on the ground floor - very atmospheric. But you could hear people’s footsteps on the floor above every morning (it was quite loud!) - so some soundproofing on the floor boards would be good!

Lots of character, small and friendly

Good choice at breakfast. Continental plus scrambled eggs available. Good size bedroom. This hotel has a lot of character, friendly staff and is conveniently located.

The room would benefit with a few hooks to hang coats, small drawers for underwear, a bedside table and a shelf in the bathroom to place products.

Wonderful

Quiet room with the nice view. Comfortable bed, good shower, a lot of towels ,which is nice. The design of the hotel itself is very beautiful. Good breakfast with various choice of sweet and salty food.

Some little things can be renovated or changed. For instance seat of the toilet in our room was very old.

Nice place to stay in Bologna

Really smiley and friendly staff, from beginning to end. Amazing! Parking for our bicycles in small backyard without problems. Breakfast was good.

Room was not new and missed some maintenance (bulb in toilet, water drain in lavabo, noisy AC, wall paint). We had to ask for A/C remote (seems practice in hotel not to leave it in the room)

The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast was really good and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

the noise from the street was quite disturbing during the night, but after all the hotel is centrally located so you can't complain.

Very helpful staff, funderful breakfast, beautiful lobby area.

The breakfast was excellent and staff helpful. We were able to leave luggage in safe care after checkout. The lobby area is lovely.

The hotel is on a side street and felt a little less safe than the main streets.

Wonderful

The property was very clean and the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and bathroom was a good size. Breakfast was included and they had a good assortment of things to eat. They will also make you cappuccino, espresso etc on order. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the centre which we didn’t mind - at least we got to walk off all the pasta we ate.

The bed was a little on harder side and the pillows weren’t very comfortable.

Wonderful

There is really helpful and friendly staff. Good room with french balcony, big tv and comfortable bed. I liked the bathroom style a lot. Amazing location - 10-15 minutes to the center, calm neighborhood.

There are only small paper cups in the room, but they add new ones every day.

Lovely, small, friendly place in perfect location

An interesting, charming hotel. The physical features of it (being a former convent) are gorgeous. The staff were super friendly. Perfect location for those who don't want to be right in the centre (but it's only 15 mins walk away!).

If I had to be picky, I'd say that being in a room on the ground floor meant that the noise from the people above (and the fact the building is very old and the above floors are probably wooden) could be quite loud at times — mostly stompy and creaky. This could just have been those particular people above during my stay, though!
